What happens?
When you open Promob, or when you click on the Activate Now button or Check Now button on the Promob activation screen, the message Was not possible detect an Internet access. Verify your network connection. If your problem persists, contact your network administrator is displayed.
Why does it happen?
- Promob was unable to identify an Internet connection to perform signature verification due to Internet connection problems. After the deadline for signature verification, access to Promob will be blocked until this process is successfully executed. The activation verification period varies with each Promob distribution;
- Malicious software installed on the computer that prevents the connection to the Promob server, and consequently the verification of Promob activation;
- There is some Internet access limiter (such as proxy, firewall, antivirus, among others) that is blocking Promob activation.
What to do?
- Check the Promob version installed via the PromobVersion.exe file located in C:\Program Files\Promob\Promob (manufacturer)\Program\bin.

- 2015 (version 5.37.X): go to Solution 2;
- 2014 (version 5.36.X): Check Promob compatibility with installed Windows. Promob 2014 is only compatible with Windows 10 from version 5.36.11. If your Promob is in a version earlier than this one, download the updated version through the Promob Downloader;

Solution 2: check Internet Connection
- Check your Internet connection. To proceed with activation, your computer must be connected to the Internet.

Click Check Later to access Promob. After the deadline for signature verification, access to Promob will be blocked until this process is successfully executed. TIP: anticipate signature verification when, for some reason, such as traveling, your computer will be without Internet access.
Solution 3: check for malicious software
- Access the Control Panel - Programs and Features;
- Check the list of programs if there is any malicious application among the ones listed below installed:

- If there are any applications installed, it is necessary to remove them from the computer;
- Open Promob and try again.
Solution 4: delete Promob.Proxy.config file
- Close the Promob activation/activation verification screen;
- Go to Local Disk (C:)\ProgramData\Procad. IMPORTANT: the ProgramData folder is a hidden folder, if not showing click here;
- Locate and delete the Promob.Proxy.config file;
- Perform signature verification again.
Solution 5: check ports, sites and IP's to be released
- Access the Promob Portal and login;
- Access the Promob website;
- If you were unable to access the Promob website or log in to the Services Portal, wait a few moments and start activating or verifying the Promob subscription again. If the situation persists, check the ports, sites and IP's that must be released for Promob activation with your IT technician.
