What happens?
When trying to import designs into Connect, the Operation not authorized message is displayed.
NOTES: The text of the image remains unchanged in English and Spanish.
Why does it happens?
This can happen for the following reasons:
- This indicates that the subscription is not active or that there is some inconsistency in the Promob login.
What to do?
To do this, follow the procedures described below:
Procedure 1 - Check that the subscription is active
1. Access the Promob Support Portal, and click Enter to connect your account.
2. Go to the Subscriptions tab and select Management.
3. Locate the desired Promob and check that the subscription is active, indicated by the green status.
Procedure 2 - Removing cache files
1. Inside Promob, in the top right-hand corner, click on your account name and logout.
2. After Promob closes, go to the C:\ProgramData\Procad folder. If you can't find the ProgramData folder, click here and follow the instructions.
3. Delete the XX.sys file.
NOTE: The number varies depending on the version of Promob.
4. Go to C:\ProgramData\Procad\Promob (name of Promob)
5. Delete the Tokencache.dat file.
6. Reopen Promob and check the situation again.
Procedure 3 - Updating Promob
1. In Promob, go to the Tools tab and select Update Promob.
2. Wait for the search for updates and, if there are any pending updates, click Update and then Install.
3. After the update, test again by opening Promob.
Procedure 4 - Open a request to Promob Support
1. If the situation persists even after all the above processes and all the requirements for using Promob are met, open a request to Promob Support to have the situation checked.
