What happens?
When accessing Connect and trying to open, duplicate or export the project, the message Your environment is being opened in read-only mode because it is out of date and there is no internet connection is displayed.
Why does it happens?
The situation can occur for the following reasons:
- The oscillation of the internet connection, third-party software, Promob not being updated or corrupted local cache files.
What to do?
To do so, follow the procedures described below:
Procedure 1 - Logout of Promob
1. Inside Promob, in the top right-hand corner, click on your account name and logout.
2. When you click Logout, the Attention message appears, click Yes to confirm.
3. Reopen Promob and log in with the user's e-mail address and password.
4. Check the situation again.
Procedure 2 - Check installed applications
1. Go to the Panel Control - Programs and Features. Check the list of installed programs for the following applications:
- MalwareBytes
- Bytefence
- Segurazzo (SA Antivirus)
- Trusteer
- WebAdvisor the McAfee
2. If any of these applications are installed, uninstall them by double-clicking on them.
3. After uninstallation, I restarted the computer.
4. Reopen Promob and check the situation again.
Procedure 3 - Updating Promob
1. In Promob, go to the Tools tab and select Update Promob or for more information on how to update Promob, click here.
2. Wait for the search for updates and, if there are any pending updates, click Update and then Install.
3. After the update, test again by opening Promob.
Procedure 4 - Check internet connection
1. Restart the internet modem or connect your computer to another network to test saving designs again.

Procedure 5 - Open a request to Promob Support
1. If the situation persists even after all the above processes, open a request to Promob Support to have the situation checked.
