NOTICE: This article is only intended for situations where the computer where the Promob serial number is active, undergoes some maintenance, or is no longer available due to purely technical reasons. Promob subscriptions are not tied to machine users, but to machine registration. Therefore, when there is an exchange of machines between employees, it is not necessary to change the computer serial number. For this, there is the option to logout and login within Promob, which will facilitate the loading of designs created by each user. To transfer Promob to another computer, perform the following processes:
1. Information Backup
Before activating the Promob subscription on another computer, Promob suggests backing up the designs and also the information saved in the local folder (the directory that stores Promob user settings, such as passwords, prototypes, dimensions configuration, among others). This way the designs are not lost and it will not be necessary to perform all the necessary configurations again.

2. Uninstall Promob
Before installing on the desired computer, we suggest that Promob be uninstalled from the computer it was on, to avoid it being accidentally activated on the previous machine.
3. Promob Installation
Install Promob on the new machine.
Promob installation is performed via the Promob Downloader.
4. Activation of Promob
To activate Promob on another computer, consider the following situations:
Minimum Activation Period: A Promob subscription cannot be activated for another computer within less than 2 days of use.
Maximum number of activations: a Promob subscription can only be exchanged 8 times during a period of 1 year. If the subscription was changed 8 times during the 1 year period, it is necessary to keep the subscription active on the last computer it was activated on.
