What happens?
When activating Promob, the message It was not possible to verify the subscription. If the problem persists, contact the Customer Service Center is displayed.
Why does it happen?
The situation occurs because malicious software installed on the computer prevents the connection with the Promob server, and consequently the verification of Promob activation.
What to do?
Solution 1: check the installed Promob version
1. Check the Promob version installed via the PromobVersion.exe file located in C:\Program Files\Promob\Promob (manufacturer)\Program\bin.
2015 (version 5.37.X): go to Solution 2;
2014 (version 5.36.X): check Promob compatibility with Windows installed. Promob 2014 is only compatible with Windows 10 from version 5.36.11. If your Promob is in a version earlier than this one, download the updated version through Promob Downloader;
Solution 2: check Internet Connection
1. Check your Internet connection. To proceed with activation, the computer must be connected to the Internet.
Solution 3: check for malicious software
1. Access the Control Panel - Programs and Features;
2. Check the list of programs if there is any malicious application among the ones listed below installed:
Infonaut;
IntelliTerm;
Istartsurf;
Link Wiz;
McafeeWebAdvisor;
Phrase Finder;
Quick Ref;
SuperClick;
TermBlazer;
TermCoach;
WordAnchor;
Wordinator;
WordFly.
3. If there are any applications installed, it is necessary to remove them from the computer;
4. Open Promob and try again.
Solution 4: delete Promob.Proxy.config file
1. Close the Promob activation/activation verification screen;
2. Go to Local Disk (C:)\ProgramData\Procad. IMPORTANT: the ProgramData folder is a hidden folder, if it is not showing click here;
3. Locate and delete the Promob.Proxy.config file;
4. Perform signature verification again.
Solution 5: check ports, sites and IP's to be released
1. Access the Promob Portal and login;
2. Access the Promob website;
3. If you were unable to access the Promob website or log in to the Services Portal, wait a few moments and start activating or verifying the Promob subscription again. If the situation persists, check the ports, sites and IP's that must be released for Promob activation with your IT technician.
