What happens?
When installing Promob the message An error has occured in the following location. is displayed.
Why does it happen?
The situation can occur for the following reasons:
1. Promob installation is trying to delete files, but it is blocked due to the absence of some administrative permission of the user logged in Windows;
2. The user logged into Windows does not have administrative permissions to create the installation folder on Local Disk (C:)\Program Files;
3. The media used for installation has some corrupt or damaged file;
What to do?
Check the information described in the message and click on the corresponding option:
Deleting files
1. Finish the installation process by clicking Abort or ending process in Windows Task Manager;
2. Go to Local Disk (C:)\Program Files\Promob;
3. Locate and delete the Promob folder being installed;
4. Start Promob installation again;
Creating Destination Folder
Solution 1: Run setup file as administrator.
1. Finish the installation process by clicking Abort or ending process in Windows Task Manager;
2. Right-click on the setup.exe file and select the option Run as administrator;
Solution 2: Check Windows administrative permissions.
1. Request assistance from the IT technician to verify the administrative permissions of the user logged into Windows;
Unzipping files/Copying files
1. Finish the installation process by clicking Abort or ending the process in Windows Task Manager.
2. Follow the procedure according to the way you install Promob:
1. Installation by CD: download Promob via Promob Downloader;
2. Installation via Promob Downloader: delete the downloaded files and restart the download. At the end of the download, install Promob;
