What happens?
When opening Promob, the message The system has updates to be installed. After the update, Promob will start automatically. is displayed and even after clicking Yes, the message will be displayed again.
Why does it happen?
The situation can occur for the following reasons:
1. The user logged on to Windows does not have administrative permissions to install the updates, regardless of whether the update has already been performed on the same computer before;
2. Among the files downloaded in the update, some information may be corrupted, preventing the files from being installed correctly, displaying the message again.
What to do?
Solution 1: delete the temporary files from the Promob Update
1. Delete the temporary files from the Promob Update.
2. Update Promob via the menu Windows Start - All Programs - Promob - Promob (Manufacturer's name) - Promob Update.
Solution 2: run Promob as an administrator
1. Run Promob as an administrator and click Yes on the message again to install the updates.
Solution 3: check Windows administrative permissions
1. Request assistance from the computer technician to check administrative permissions of the user logged into Windows.
