What happens?
When activating Promob, the message This subscription is activated on another computer. It is not possible to continue. For more information on how to correct this situation, click here is displayed.
Why does it happen?
The situation can occur for the following reasons:
1. The subscription was activated on another computer within a period of less than 02 days from the date of the last activation;
2. The log file stored in the hardware key contains some incorrect information.
What to do?
Solution 1: wait for the end of the minimum activation period
1. If you are activating the Promob subscription after computer maintenance or computer subscription change, the message is displayed because the subscription in question was activated in less than 02 days from the last activation date. Thus, it is necessary to wait for the minimum period to be reached before activating again.
Solution 2: check subscriptions in use and subscriptions available for activation
1. If you are not aware of the activation performed less than 02 days ago, manage the subscriptions through the Promob Services Portal in the Manage Subscriptions menu, checking the Serial Numbers that you have in the account;
2. Access the other computers that have Promob installed and, through the Help - About menu, check the Serial Number activated in each equipment;
3. Compare the subscriptions displayed on the Portal with the activated subscriptions and identify which subscriptions are in use and which are available for activation.
Solution 3: contact Promob Support
1. If you are not activating after maintenance or computer replacement and in the subscription management no subscriptions available for activation were found, contact Promob Support.
Solution 4: clear hardware key
1. If you have already managed the subscriptions according to Solution 2, but the situation persists and Promob uses a hardware key, contact Promob Support so that the key can be cleaned through remote access.
