To start customizing the system, it is necessary to understand some concepts in the Promob Catalog.
The following is a list of the concepts used and defined by the Promob Catalog:
1. ID | Registration identifier. This value is suggested by the system, so there is no need to fill it out. |
2. Abbreviation | Short nomenclature that is visible to the user in the modulation bar. |
3. Description | Item full nomenclature, usually visible on the budget and on the status bar. |
4. Attributes | Specific treatments that can be defined for a Group, Module and/or Aggregate. |
5. Inserts | Modules that complete the structure of another module. Example: Door, Top, Feet, Footers. |
6. Positioning | Predefined sets of handle insertion positions. |
7. Styles | The entire style registered as a module that belongs to a group. The registration of the style template is done individually. Each with its main characteristics. Example: Door, handle. |
8. Layers | Modulation visualization filters. |
9. Component | List of layers that belongs to a drawing. |
10. Child Modules | Every module that is related and depends on another (Groups, modules, aggregates, attributes). |
11. Parent Modules | Any module that has another module related to it (Groups, modules, aggregates, attributes). |
12. Inheritage | Inheritance is a way of defining characteristics common to several modules. When a specific characteristic is defined for a module, all modules that are related to it automatically inherit that characteristic. |
13. PMOB | Design extension created by Promob. |
