This procedure is performed only by a user with the Manufacturer profile.
After a component is published, it needs to be enabled so that users can download it. After activation, the criteria that will be considered for the media availability are defined.
To define the criteria of publication:
1. Access the Promob Support Portal, and click Enter In to connect the account.
2. Do the Login with a manufacturer user.
3. Click on menu Manufacturer- Publications.
4. In the Manage Publications menu, apply the desired filters in the Apply Filters option.
5. Locate the desired media and click Manage.
6. Click the Add Criteria menu.
7. Use the options below to define a release criterion:
Country:
- To restrict the actualization of a Country, select the desired Country.
Customer:
- Inform the customer account, to restrict the liberation of a component to a specific customer.
- Is not possible to inform the NIF. Look when starting to write the account name, a list of customers will appear with the informed name.
Serial Number:
- Inform the serial number of Promob to restrict a release of the component to a specific serial number.
High Relevance:
- This option should be used when existing one or more publications released to the same customer;
- To define which publications will have priority over the other;
- To the fields that don't have the All option predefined, is necessary to type the information All;
- The high relevance should be evicted if the criteria are All in the Serial Number field.
Look below the examples:
1 Example:
Component: A System
1 Publication - from yesterday: released to the X customer, with high relevance
2 Publication- from today: released to all customers.
Criteria to liberation:
- The criteria are the same to both publications, and the versions are compatibles.
- The publication will be available to update, through the Promob Update
- The publication will be available to download, through the Promob Downloader;
- The publication available to the customer X is the 1 Publication, because how the liberations’ criteria are the same.
- The 1 Publication has priority over the 2 Publication, due to option High Relevance.
2 Example:
Component: B System
1 Publication - from yesterday: released to the Y customer, with high relevance
2 Publication - from today: released to the Y customer, with high relevance
Criteria to liberation:
- The criteria are the same to both publications, and the versions are compatibles.
- The publication will be available to update, through the Promob Update
- The publication will be available to download, through the Promob Downloader;
- The publication available to customer Y is the 1 Publication, because how the liberations’ criteria are the same.
- The 2 Publication has priority over the 1 Publication, because of the Promob Update that downloads the most recent publication, that is, the last publication that was released.
8. After configured the criteria according to desired, click on button Add.
9. For the criteria defined to publication being replicated is necessary, click on button Save.
IMPORTANT:
- The criteria of publication just will take effect after a click on button Save;
- Clicking to Cancel, the changes performed will be undone;
- During the criteria editing process, see the Status column to see how they will be applied after clicking Save.
