What happens?
When opening the Cut Pro program by double-clicking the mouse, nothing happens and the program doesn't open, or the loading screen starts and then finishes.
Why does it happens?
The situation can occur for the following reasons:
- There may be a file necessary for the Cut Pro to work that is corrupted.
- The computer may not meet the requirements for using the Cut Pro.
- Some third-party application may be impacting directly on how Cut Pro works.
What to do?
To do so, follow the procedures described below:
Procedure 1 - Delete the cache files
1. Go to the directory C:\ProgramData\Procad.
IMPORTANT: If you can't find the ProgramData folder, click here and follow the instructions.
2. Delete the Production.sys and Promob.Proxy.config files.
3. Go to the directory C:\Users\usuario logado\AppData\Local\Promob.
4. Delete the FunctionsClient and Production folders.
5. Search for Internet Options in the Windows Start menu.
6. To perform the procedure, click here.
7. Try opening Cut Pro again.
Procedure 2 - Disable antivirus
1. If you have an antivirus installed on your machine, disable it.
2. Try opening Cut Pro again.
3. If Cut Pro opens, ask a computer technician you trust to configure the antivirus filters so that it doesn't block executable files and Cut Pro folders. If the situation persists, proceed to solution 3.
Procedure 3 - Check installed applications
1. Go to the Panel Control - Programs and Features. Check the list of installed programs for the following applications:
- MalwareBytes
- Bytefence
- Segurazzo (SA Antivirus)
- Trusteer
- WebAdvisor the McAfee
2. If any of these applications are installed, uninstall them by double-clicking on them.
Procedure 4 - Verify the presence of WarSaw on the computer
In direct contact with Diebold, the company responsible for the application, Promob has identified that Warsaw, the security application installed on computers for secure access to Internet Banking, blocks Cut Pro files and prevents them from being opened. We therefore suggest that the following guidelines be followed:
1. Contact Diebold Support for application maintenance, for more information click here.
2. Palliative solution: Uninstall the Warsaw application. If you need help uninstalling, we recommend that you contact Diebold Support.
Procedure 5 - Check Windows default printer
1. Search for Printers and Scanners in the Windows Start menu.
2. Locate the Microsoft Print to PDF printer and make it the default Windows printer.
3. Try opening Cut Pro again.
Procedure 6 - Check for Windows updates and requirements
1. Search for Windows Update in the Windows Start menu.
2. Click on Check for updates.
3. If new updates are found, download them and install them.
4. Go to your computer's Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features. On the left-hand side of the screen, click Turn Windows features on or off.
5. Check that the .NET Framework 3.5 and .NET Framework 4.8 features are enabled. If not, activate them and perform the requested update.
6. Restart the machine and try opening Cut Pro again.
Procedure 7 - Reinstalling Cut Pro
1. Uninstall Promob Cut Pro, and for more information on how to uninstall, click here.
2. After uninstalling Promob Cut Pro, it is necessary to install it again. For more information, click here.
3. If the situation persists even after all the processes described above, open a request to Promob Support to have the situation checked.
