What happens?
When generating the budget the displayed values are different when compared between two computers.
Why does it happen?
The situation can occur for the following reasons:
- Promob version differs on computers;
- The margins applied on each Promob differ;
- For Promob Plus specifically, the values registered on the computers differ;
- The user logged into Windows has different permissions on computers;
- Similar designs are being budgeted for, but not exactly the same.
What to do?
Before performing the procedures below, make sure you are budgeting the same design on both computers. Click on your product to identify processes to be performed:
Promob Studio, Lite and Premium
Promob Plus: items with different prices between computers
Solution 1: update Promob
1. Update Promob on both computers;
2. Generate the budget again.
Solution 2: check prices registered on computers
1. The registration of prices on Promob Plus is carried out by the user. Check if the prices were registered correctly and are the same on the computers in addition to the defined model and raw material;

Solution 3: Check the registration of margins
1. Check if the values applied in the budget margins are the same between computers;
2. If you don't find any difference, perform the export/import of the margins between the computers;
3. After importing the margins generate the budget again.
Solution 4: open request to Promob
1. Open a request to Promob Support by attaching a design with each computer's budget and the Budget folder, located in Local Disk (C:)\ProgramData\Procad\Promob Plus of both computers that have different values. Note: the ProgramData folder is a hidden folder, if it is not being shown click here;
2. If the situation persists, or you do not have another computer, open a request to Promob Support, attaching a design that contains the module and the file that stores the price register. Specify in which library the module is located.
Promob Studio, Lite and Premium: items with different prices between computers
Solution 1: run Promob as administrator
1. Run Promob as an administrator;
2. Generate the budget again;
3. If all prices are displayed correctly, request assistance from the IT technician to verify the Windows user's administrative permissions.
Solution 2: update Promob
1. Update Promob (full scan) on both computers;
2. Compare the version and latest publication information between the Promobs via the Help - About menu;
3. Generate the budget again.
Solution 3: check the registration of margins
1. Check if the values applied in the budget margins are the same between computers;
2. If you don't find any difference, perform the export/import of the margins between the computers;
3. After importing the margins generate the budget again.
Solution 4: open request to Promob
1. Open a request to Promob Support by attaching a design with each computer's budget and the values.margin margin file, located in Local Disk (C:)\ProgramData\Procad\Promob (Manufacturer Name)\Budget\Margin for both computers that have different values.
