What happens?
When opening Promob the message Your account has been migrated to a newer version of Promob. In order for you to be able to use the application, you will need to update Promob. or the message To use Promob it is necessary to update Promob. Click OK to update are displayed.
Why does it happen?
- The situation happens because Promob is not updated and the other subscriptions of the same account have already been updated. Therefore, there is a version incompatibility between the subscriptions.
- The situation can also occur because SAntivirus (Segurazo) application is installed on the computer and deletes important files from Promob.
What to do?
Solution 1: Update Promob
1. Right-click the Promob icon on the desktop and then click Open file location and in the folder that opens. Access the Update folder. IMPORTANT: If you do not have the Promob icon on your desktop, access the directory: Local Disk (C:)\Program Files\Promob\Promob (Manufacturer Name)\Program\bin\Update.
2. In the Update folder, locate and run with two clicks the PromobUpdate.exe file.
3. The Promob Update screen will open, now just follow the same update procedures performed with Promob open.
Solution 2:
1. Close Promob.
2. Download the updated version of Promob Update.
3. Unzip the folder with the Promob Update files and copy them.
4. Go to Local Disk (C:)\Program Files\Promob\Promob (Manufacturer's Name)\Program\Bin and paste the copied files, replacing them all.
5. Afterwards, open the folder Local Disk (C:)\Program Files\Promob\Promob (Manufacturer's Name)\Program\Bin\Update and run the PromobUpdate.exe application in the folder, in order to check if there are any updates available.
Solution 3: Uninstall SAntivirus (Segurazo)
1. With the help of a computer technician, uninstall the SAntivirus application, which can also appear with the name Segurazo.
2. Update Promob; IMPORTANT: It is necessary to check the Full Scan option when updating. If the option does not appear again on the first update, then update.
3. Open Promob.
