What happens?
When trying to open designs from the File - Open menu, or by clicking on the Open icon, the window for choosing the design is not displayed.
Why does it happen?
The situation can occur due to problems with the user's permissions, due to the outdated version of Internet Explorer or due to the settings running in compatibility mode.
What to do?
Solution 1: Run as an administrator
1. Right-click on the Promob icon and select the option Run as administrator.
2. If the situation is resolved, close Promob, right-click on the Promob icon and in Properties - Compatibility, check the option Run this program as administrator. Click OK and run Promob.
Solution 2: deselect compatibility mode
1. Right-click on the Promob icon and select the Properties - Compatibility option.
2. Uncheck the option Run this program in compatibility mode.
Solution 3: disable Windows UAC.
Solution 4: update Internet Explorer
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Access the Settings - About Internet Explorer menu.
3. If the version is less than 11, it is necessary to update IE.
IMPORTANT: if it is Windows 7, make sure that Service Pack 1 is installed. To consult this information, right-click on the Computer option in Properties. In Windows Edition, verify that the Service Pack 1 information is displayed. SP1 must be installed in order for the Internet Explorer version to be updated. If SP1 is not installed, request the support of a computer technician to update your Windows 7 in order to install version 11 of IE and SP1.
Solution 5: contact Promob Support.
1. Open a solicitation to Promob Support reporting the situation and wait for service.
