What happens?
When generating the project budget, the message The generated budget contains items without price is displayed.
Why does it happen?
The situation can occur for the following reasons:
1. The price for the item was not registered;
2. When registering price per m², price was not associated with the module (unit);
3. Promob communication with Windows database failed.
What to do?
Solution 1: check price registration
Check the price registration form:
1. Price registration per module/unit: Check if any module in the design is priceless;
2. Price registration per m²: When registering the price per m² of the plate and generating the design budget, the message will be displayed, as the module (unit) has no associated price. This situation is not an error, but a Promob behavior. The module cost value is obtained through the sum of the prices of its components, calculated by m², that is, the module value is the sum of the value of its components, therefore, the unit will not have an associated value.
- Access the price editing screen and click on the value in the Price Table column for the module;
- Please note that the unit price is zeroed. Register the price and click OK.
Solution 2: check if all or just one item is priced at zero
Only one item has a zero price
1. Update Promob and generate budget;
- Update Promob;
- Reinsert the item into the design and generate the budget again.
2. Check prices registered on another computer.
- Export the prices from another computer where the values are displayed correctly and generate the budget again;
- If the situation persists, or you do not have another computer, open a request to Promob Support, attaching a project that contains the module and the file that stores the price register. Specify in which library the module is located.
All budget items are without price
1. Run Promob as administrator by right-clicking on the Promob icon and selecting the Run as administrator option;
2. Update Promob with full verification;
3. Review through the Dimensions Configurator the raw material defined for the modules. It is important that the material is correctly defined so that the information registered in the Price Editor is compatible.
Solution 3: update Windows
Update the operating system through Windows Update by installing all updates and check if the situation persists. If the situation persists, ask the IT technician to repair the MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) component, as it is possible that there is a failure in the Promob communication with the Windows database.
