In Promob Revest, it is possible to register new pieces in the covering library, customizing categories, dimensions, materials, and finishes according to the project’s needs.
Register Piece
1. In the top toolbar of Promob, click on Revest — Piece Catalog.
2. Click on New Piece and configure:
Description and category.
Dimensions (width and height).
Finishing material.
3. Enable or disable the option Random Rotation:
When enabled, the arrangement of pieces is done without following a fixed pattern.
IMPORTANT: The field Cantidad per box is available only in the Revest plugin.
4. The Revest tab displays the list of already registered pieces, organized into categories and subcategories.
Add material to the piece
In the Add Texture tab, there are four options to insert materials:
Option 1 — Promob Materials Gallery
Click on Material to open the Promob gallery.
Select from the predefined options of materials and finishes.
Option 02 — Image File
Select a file saved on your computer, using the Browse File option.
Accepted formats: .bmp, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff.
IMPORTANT: use high-resolution images to ensure realism in the render.
Option 03 — Screen Capture and Color Selection
Select screen area: hold down the right mouse button and drag over the desired image, press Enter to confirm.
Select color: click on the desired point to capture the color.
IMPORTANT: It is possible to register multiple textures on a single piece, creating subtle tone variations.
Confirm selection: stores all selected areas and colors for the piece.
Option 04 — Catalog 3D
Select texture, color, and finish directly from the Catalog 3D.
Click OK to register in the Piece Catalog.
Configure materials and finishes
In the Material tab, define the finishing details that influence the render result:
Ambient: piece brightness.
Transparency: translucent effect.
Diffuse: amount of light absorbed.
Specular: brightness intensity.
Maximum/minimum reflection: intensity of reflections from nearby objects and lights.
Roughness: level of rough texture.
Metallic: metallic effect.
Bumpiness: simulation of relief on the material.
Use finishes from the Render Plugin
Click on Use finish from Render Plugin.
The material library with pre-configured patterns from MCode Selector will open.
With this, the piece will be registered in the library and available for use in layouts, ensuring greater customization and realism in the project.
