This type of coverings can be applied in specific areas, such as strips, entire walls, or different shapes, allowing greater creative freedom in the project.
Insertion options:
Option 1 – Edit Strips
1. Right-click on the wall area where you want to apply the coverings.
2. Select the option Edit Strips.
3. Choose the direction of the strip (vertical or horizontal) and place it in the desired area.
Option 2 – Edit Regions
1. Right-click on the wall area where you want to apply the coverings.
2. Select the option Edit Regions.
3. Choose the geometry shape and draw the area.
It can be done freehand or based on exact measurements, which can be adjusted in the Base Shape tab.
Applying the Coverings
1. In the Revest – Coverings tab, locate the piece with the desired dimension.
2. Select the coating and drag it over the created area.
3. Click the Coverings option to open the Coverings Editor.
Settings in the Coverings Editor
Coverings models: select among the available options. The coverings preview will be displayed automatically.
Piece selection: click on Edit the Piece Informations to insert textures and finishes. To register new textures in the library, see: Revest – Register pieces of revestments.
Grout selection: choose among existing options or create new models through the Add Grout button.
Add piece to the library: after configuring the materials, save to reuse in future projects.
View in the 3D environment
1. Click OK to apply the pagination in the 3D environment.
Example – Spine Fish:
The process of inserting tiles, pastilles, or spine fish is the same, only changing the chosen coverings model.
2. Click OK to view the result in the 3D environment.
