To register pieces in the library of Coatings:
1. Piece Cadastral
1.1 On the Promob top toolbar, click the library Promob Revest - Piece Catalog.
1.2. New Part:Allows the registration of a new part, as well as the definitions of description, category, dimensions, and the coating material for each part.
1.3. Random rotation: displays the part information shown in the finishing list. By checking the Random rotation option, the parts arrangement is performed without following a predetermined criterion.
IMPORTANT: The Quantity per box field is only visible and available specifically for the Revest plugin
1.4. Revest:Displays the list of parts created in Revest, organized into categories and sub-categories.
2. Add material to the piece
2.1. Add texture:To add a material, there are four frequently used options:
Option 01
1. In Add Texture the Material tab is displayed, click and open the Promob gallery, where you will find several options of predefined materials and finishes that you can use.
Option 02
1. Search for a saved file on your computer.
IMPORTANT: only files in the following formats are accepted at this stage: .bmp, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff.
Option 03
1. Screen capture: In the tab select the screen area option, click and hold the right mouse button to drag from the beginning to the end of the desired image, press enter and confirm the selection.
2. Select color: click on the location you want and select the color.
IMPORTANT: The coating pieces with more than one shade have some differences with respect to texture. This way, Promob Revest allows you to register various textures for a single piece through the Select Color option.
Confirm Selection: Stores all selected areas and colors for the part.
Option 04
1. Catalog 3D: select the texture, color and finish you want, click on OK and see the image registered in the parts catalog.
3. Material: In the Material option you define the finishing details of the part, these settings influence the rendering of the design, and can be changed manually or use the pre-configured finishes from the rendering plugin.
3.1. Manually:
Ambient: defines the luminosity of the piece, independent of the lights present in the environment. The effect of this property can be seen both in the environment and in the rendered image;
Transparency: applies a transparency effect to the piece;
Diffuse: It controls the quantity of light the piece receives;
Specular: regulates the intensity of the shine produced by the light on the piece;
Maximum reflection: controls the intensity of the reflection from objects inserted close to the piece;
Minimum reflection: controls the intensity of the reflection of the lights added to the design;
Roughness: defines whether the material has a rougher, ruder texture;
Metallic: defines a metallic effect to the piece;
Rugosity: defines the relief of the material;
3.2. Rendering Plugin Finish: Click on Use Finish from Render Plugin and the materials library is displayed, in this option you can apply pre-configured patterns from the MCode Selector gallery.
