In the latest versions of Promob new designs are saved directly in the cloud, but it is possible to import old designs from the computer to the cloud, as well as export designs from the cloud to the computer!

There are two ways to export a design:
1. In the Promob Start Screen, identify the project to export.
2. Click the Exportbutton .
3. And the Export Project screen appears.
4. On the screen that appears, it is possible to find the Project Identifier containing the Import Key and Path.
5. The Project Identifier option is used to copy the Identification Key and import the project on another machine. In the Path option, it is used to export the project in the desired local folder.
6. In the Path field, define the location (folder) where the design will be saved.
7. Wait for the export confirmation message.
8. The designs will be saved in the chosen folder, with the same name displayed on the Promob Home Screen.
IMPORTANT: The Export Designs functionality is available in the Store tab and in the Designs tab, as shown in the images below:

Import Designs
You can create an import key for a project so it can be imported into another Promob. To do this:
Import design via .promob
1. To import the file saved on your machine, click on File - Import Project.
2. On the Import project screen, in Path select the directory where your project is saved.
3. The file explorer is displayed, select the desired design.
4. After selecting the project, click Next. It is possible to select an existing customer (if he is already registered in Connect) or to register a new customer.
Import .skp file
IMPORTANT:
- This functionality is only available in the Novo Promob version.
- It is necessary to configure the project in SketchUp to make it compatible for import into Promob. More information here.
1. To import the file saved on your machine, click File - Import Design.
2. On the Import Design screen, under Path, select the directory where your project is saved.
3. The file explorer is displayed, change the filter to SketchUp files (*.skp) and select the desired file.
4. After selecting the design, click Next.
5. It is possible to select an existing customer (if they are already registered with Connect) or register a new customer.
6. After the file is sent to the cloud, it is necessary to Relate the SketchUp Blocks (Groups and/or Components) to the Promob Layers. Select the blocks you want to convert for each Promob layer, blocks that should not be converted must be left blank.
7. Wait while the charging process is carried out.
8. At the end of the import process, the message Design imported successfully! Click Yes to open the design.
9. When you first close the converted design, a screen opens where you can write feedback about the conversion. Please take the time to write your comments about this feature, as they are important for us to improve it.
IMPORTANT: after closing this screen, it is no longer possible to send feedback for that design.
If you want this screen to no longer appear for any other imported project, check the Do not ask again option.
Project Identifier - Designs Tab
It is possible to create an import key for a design, so that it can be imported into another Promob. For that:
1. Go to the Designs tab, and in the desired project, click Export Project.
2. The window with the created key appears, to copy the key click Copy to clipboard. Share this key with whoever you want to share your project with.
3. To import the design into the other Promob, go to File - Import Design, in Import Key insert the generated link.
4. After pasting the key in the indicated field, a preview of the project is loaded, from that moment on the import of the project will be in the same way as it was done from the project file.
- Design is already on the account or has been imported previously:
1. When you click Next, the message This design is already in your account is displayed informing you why the import will not proceed, and you can select the project from the list of existing projects.
2. By clicking OK on the message displayed, the project is filtered and selected.
IMPORTANT: to remove the filter, click on the X icon.
- Design has already been imported, but the specific option or version has not:
1. When you click Next, the message This design has already been imported into your account. Do you want to import it as a new option? Informing you why the import will not proceed, you can select the project from the list of existing projects.
2. By clicking Yes, the option and version of the original project that will be imported to the already imported project is displayed, you can define a name for this new option or accept the suggestion (project name - current date/time).
3. The import is finished, and the message Design imported successfully is displayed.
4. The design is filtered and selected.
IMPORTANT: to remove the filter, click on the X icon.
Import Key - Store Tab
Using the Import Key option, the manufacturer can add a manufacturing option to a project using an import key. For that:
IMPORTANT: This option to create an import key is only available to users with visibility to the Store tab. For more information, access the article Connect - Store Tab.
1. Go to the Store tab, and select File - Import Design.
2. Paste the import key, wait for the loading of the design data to be imported.
3. After advancing, in the Inform Data tab, a name is requested for the new manufacturing option, the base option and the date of the version referenced by the import key are displayed.
4. Then, on the Import design tab, the project import is finished and the message Design imported successfully!is displayed.
5. After clicking OK on the message displayed, the project is filtered and selected in the list.
IMPORTANT: to remove the filter, click on the X icon.
If the design has already been imported, the message The design has already been imported, click on OK to select it in the list of projects.
