The register of attributes of the closet builder and that of the modulation editor has a different logic. When we apply a suggestion attribute in the module editor, we are adding the attribute to the module. In the Closet Editor, we are referencing an attribute and changing its value.
A practical example:
I have a suggestion attribute that defines the position of the front crosspiece of the modules. This value by default is Vertical. However, in my library I need the drawers to have the front crosspiece as the default by Horizontal, for this, I put the attribute and set the value to Horizontal.
In my design, I insert the drawer modules, and they come with the Horizontal crossbeam, when I insert the counter modules, for example, it comes with the value defined in the dimension configurator, “Vertical” crossbars.
Supposing that I have the same situation in the Closet Builder, two modules, a drawer and another counter. I apply the attribute to the drawer (it is the same as for modulation). When inserting the builder's drawer he will present me the vertical crosspiece (correct). However, when inserting the library counter modules (which do not have the redefined attribute) the crossbars will also enter vertically. This is because, when inserting the drawer of the Closet Builder, he redefined the value of the attribute in the design, as if we had applied this “Vertical” value in the dimension configurator.
For this reason, we must be very careful when applying suggestion attributes in the Closet Builder.
