This attribute allows you to define whether joins are allowed when items are overlapping.
True, allows registered joins to occur even when items are overlapping.
When registering this attribute, its default configuration defines that it is created automatically (in a hidden way) for all entities (Automatic Creation property) with a default value of False (False), that is, the attribute is applied to all items, not allowing joins when items are overlapping. If it is necessary to define that the joins must occur even when the items are overlapping, it is necessary to apply the attribute to the components that suffer the joins and change its value to True.
Example:
Cabinet sides that join when side by side and are replaced by partitions.
Through the images below it is possible to notice that, on the left, with the AllowJointWhenOverlapping attribute with a value of False or not even applied (due to its default value - False), when the sides are overlapped (with the Collision off) both sides remain, without suffer the junction. On the right, with the AllowJointWhenOverlapping attribute with a True value, when the sides are overlapped, the side of the cupboard that overlapped is removed (gap) and the side of the cupboard that was superimposed was replaced by the divider.
Note: In the case of the image below (on the right), the remaining gap is due to the registration of the joint that calculates subtracting the thickness of the side so that the joint occurs only when side by side bringing the sides together, not overlapping. To adjust this gap, it would be necessary to adjust the spacing in the module's insertion parameters.
The same attribute is also used in the case of through hardware, when the contact areas meet, the hardware unites and becomes a through hardware, but in some cases the contact area passes and is overlapped, with the attribute AllowJointWhenOverlapping with value False , these hardware will not make the join, but setting the value to True, the hardware will make the join.
