The Promob Catalog from version 5.3.22.0 introduces a new structure for organizing aggregate REFs. From now on, the REFs will be centralized in the Aggregates folder of each modulation line in the system. For example:
REF collections are shown in the Aggregates tab of the module editor (only when the modulation line folder is selected). Each modulation line has its own collection, and aggregate files will not be shown if they are not in that line's Aggregates directory.
To add a new REF for that modulation line, you need to go to the REF Collection of that modulation line, and then go to New - New REF of Aggregate, as shown in the example:
These REFs can only be edited within the collection, while the REF links for each module remain read-only. It is also possible to navigate from a REF link to its definition in the collection using the Edit button.
To associate REFs to a module, it is necessary to go to the Inserts tab (select the collection of local aggregates if you are trying to associate the REF with the modulation line group), go to New - Associate aggregates and select the aggregates you want to associate with the module that is being edited.
After you have selected the REFs you want to associate, click OK.
IMPORTANT: As until then it was possible to save these aggregate REFs in any directory, old systems can present aggregate files outside the new default folder. Consequently, they would not be presented for editing in the new REF collection.
To prevent this from happening, the first time the Inserts tab is selected, a validation of the system libraries is performed, looking for any .aggregate file outside the default folder. You can continue to work while this validation is done.
If any non-standard files are found, Promob will request user permission to automatically match the files. This compatibility will move any non-standard aggregate file to the Aggregates folder on your modulation line. Modules that used these REFs will continue to reference these aggregates.
If, when trying to move an aggregate file, another REF with the same name is found in the Aggregates folder, the user's permission to rename the file will be requested.
When finalizing the compatibility, a window with all the changes made in the location of the aggregates will be presented, allowing you to navigate to the new REF path (selecting the new path with double click).
After that, if any module has been modified for compatibility, another window will notify the modules that have been changed, allowing you to browse your Catalog library to the modified files (by double-clicking on the module path).
