It is possible to insert dowels through the Creator 950 machine.
Insertion
On the Builder tab, when selecting Add hole, the option Insert dowel via machine will be displayed in properties.
Set up
On machines that have the dowel insertion function, checking the Drill holes option will enable the Insert dowels option.
Checking the Insert Dowels option will automatically enable the Value (mm) option to be removed from the hole depth.
Program generation
When generating the machine program, in order to apply the dowel insertion function, both the Builder tab and the machine setup must select the Insert pin option.
IMPORTANT: The dowel insertion depth will be the hole depth minus the value assigned to the Value(mm) to be taken from the hole depth option.
