What are User Permissions?
Permissions determine who can access files and folders and what actions are allowed. For example, you may have access to a file in a shared folder for reading only, without editing rights.
In Promob, it is necessary to grant read, write, and execute permissions in the directories used by the software to ensure proper functionality.
IMPORTANT: In Windows 8 and 10, the logged-in user must have administrator privileges. Even so, it is necessary to configure each folder individually to guarantee full access to all Promob files.
Required Permissions
- Read: allows viewing folder contents and opening files.
- Write: allows creating and modifying files and folders.
- Execute: allows running programs and opening files within the folder.
