What is happening?
Promob is slow, freezing or crashing when using tools, designing, moving, rotating the 3D environment, or inserting items into it.
Why does it happen?
The performance of the equipment or its components such as video card, driver, and processor is not working properly;
What to do?
Solution 1: clear cache files using the Cyncly Maintenance Tool
| IMPORTANT: make sure Promob is closed. |
1. Download the Support Service Software. If you already have the software installed, skip to step 4.
2. After the download is complete, install it. To do this, go to the location where the file was downloaded and double-click to run it. If you have questions about the installation process, click here.
3. Once installation is complete, find the Cyncly Maintenance Tool on your computer desktop and click to open it.
4. With the Cyncly Maintenance Tool open, perform the following steps:
On the left side, locate the Self-Service function.
Check the upper right corner of this screen to ensure Promob (Your Promob Name) is selected.
Locate the option Clear login files.
Select this option and confirm the clearing process by clicking Yes.
After the clearing process finishes, a confirmation screen will appear; click Close.
Solution 2: update Promob
1. Update Promob from within Promob, or by using the Cyncly Maintenance Tool.
To perform the process through the Maintenance Tool, open it and follow the steps below:

On the left side, locate the function called Self-Service.
Check the upper right corner of this screen to ensure Promob (Your Promob Name) is selected.
Locate the option Open Promob Update, select it, and confirm which Promob you want to update.
Click Open Update.
After the opening process is complete, Promob Update will start, and a confirmation screen will appear; click Close.
With Promob Update open, a search bar for updates will be displayed.
After the search is complete, check for available updates. If any are available, click Update.
Once the files have been downloaded, click to Install.
After the procedure, check if the issue persists.
Solution 3: check video card settings
1. Verify if the computer’s video card is set to run Promob in high performance mode; for more information click here;
2. Check if the video card driver is up to date. If it is outdated, seek help from an IT technician to update the driver.
Solution 4: check Promob usage requirements
1. Microsoft .NET Framework
Verify if the minimum required version of Microsoft .NET Framework (4.8) required by Promob is installed on the machine. If it is not installed, install the component;
Check if the Microsoft .NET Framework features are enabled. If the feature is disabled, enable the component.
2. Windows
Verify if Windows is activated and updated;
If it is not updated, seek assistance from a trusted technician to update the operating system through Windows Update.
3. Physical components of the machine (hardware)
Check if the computer meets the minimum specifications suggested by Promob. If not, we recommend contacting a trusted IT technician to upgrade the machine’s components according to Promob’s recommendations. If you don’t know how to find your machine’s information, click here.
Solution 5: project with a large number of items
If the issue occurs due to a project with a large number of items in the 3D environment, go to the Preferences window and click on Environment - Movement. Enable the option Draw outline box only.
