What is happening?
When saving the design, the cloud icon in Connect 2.0 does not turn green and the design is not uploaded.
The following message is displayed:
The design upload service cannot be started.
Why is this happening?
This behavior can occur for one of the following reasons:
Network blocks;
Interference from third-party software;
Upload service not started due to inconsistencies in local cache files.
What to do?
Procedure 1: Check Windows date and time
1. Check the date and time in the bottom right corner of the computer screen.
2. If they are incorrect, adjust them so that Promob can validate the signature correctly.
3. Right-click on the date/time and select Adjust date/time.
Procedure 2: Log out and save the design again
1. In Promob, log out by clicking on the top right corner (Logout).
2. Open Promob again as Administrator.
3. Open a design that has the blue cloud with arrow icon and save it.
4. Close the design (File > Close).
5. Check if the cloud has changed to green.
Procedure 3: Restart the computer
1. Save all files in Promob.
2. Close Promob and other programs.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Repeat the steps from Procedure 1.
Procedure 4: Remove conflicting software
1. Open the Control Panel - Programs - Programs and Features.
2. Look for:
Bytefence
SAntivirus
Segurazzo
WebAdvisor (McAfee)
3. If you find any of them, uninstall it.
4. Restart the computer, open Promob, and test the saving.
Procedure 5: Test internet connection
1. Restart the modem/router or connect to another network.
2. Check if necessary websites, ports, and IPs are open. Click here for more information.
