What happens?
During the download of Promob in Promob Downloader, the message Error copying files to folder or ErrorReusingFiles occurs.
Why does it happen?
The situation can occur due to lack of space on the computer's hard drive or due to interference from third-party cloud file synchronization applications.
What to do?
Solution 1: Check available space on the Local Disk on the device
1. Access the Local Disk of your device and check the amount of gigabytes available. It is recommended to have at least 15 gigabytes of free space.
2. If the available space is low, it is advisable to consult a trusted computer technician to clean up temporary and obsolete files that are no longer needed.
Solution 2: Check the directory where the installation folder is being downloaded
1. If you use OneDrive or other cloud synchronization applications on your machine, restart the Promob download directly in the Downloads folder or on the C drive of the computer.
Solution 3: Check if Windows is up to date
1. Access the Start Menu.
2. Search for Windows Update and check for Windows updates.
3. If there is any pending update, install it and restart the computer.
Solution 4: Open a request for Promob Support
If the situation persists even after all the above processes and all Promob usage requirements are met, we recommend opening a request for Promob Support containing the following information:
- Screenshot with the displayed message or description of it.
- Screenshot of the computer's programs and features screen.
