SetUps
General
Name: the name set in this field also changes the name of the folder where the generated files will be saved.
Alignment by face: defines whether the alignment face registered on each part is considered when generating programs. If yes, this face will be aligned according to the selected configuration. For more information, click here.
Perform drilling: machine is enabled to drill holes.
Make slots: with the option checked, the registered slot will be generated in the machine programs.
Perform machining: with the option checked, the registered machining operations will be generated in the machine programs.
Perform machined contour: defines the contour of which parts will be generated.
- None: contour machining will not be generated for any part;
- All: contour machining will be generated for all parts;
- Only marked: contour machining will be generated only for parts that have the Machined Contour property enabled in the library register.
Machining processes: tool used for machining.
Machine
Priorization order: defines the order of prioritization of operations for program generation. According to the order indicated in this field, the plugin will prioritize, in program A, the selected option.
Example: In a part that has holes on one side and tears on the other side, the order indicated in this field will determine which of them will be prioritized in the A program.
Prioritized head: head to be prioritized when creating the machine program.
Slot tool: tool used for slots. IMPORTANT: This option is available when the Make Slots option is selected.
Machining tool: tool used for machining.
Operations ordering: order that the machine performs operations.
Example: in a part that has holes and tears on the same face, the order indicated in this field will determine the sequence in which they will be executed by the machine.
Holes
Drill bit angle used in through holes: determine the drill bit end angle for through hole usage (from 25 to 90 degrees). This value is used in the calculation to determine the increment in the through-hole depth to ensure that the hole passes completely through the part.
Drill GAP in through hole operation (mm): determine the clearance of the drill for use in through holes.
Horizontal Holes (X Axis)
Number of horizontal drill bits (X): the number of drills, for each horizontal face, present in the machine.
Maximum diameter of horizontal drill bit (mm): maximum diameter of horizontal drills.
Maximum part width at (Y) to receive hole in the rear face: maximum part width (Y) to receive hole in the back face;
Maximum position of the quadrant of the horizontal holes in (Y): maximum quadrant position of the horizontal holes in (Y) that the machine can operate. To calculate the quadrant position, the hole center in (Y) is considered plus (+) the hole radius. The quadrant cannot exceed the maximum position defined in this property, in reference to the end of the part;
Minimum position of the quadrant of the horizontal holes in (Y): minimum quadrant position of the horizontal holes in (Y) that the machine can operate. To calculate the quadrant position, the hole center (Y) minus (-) the hole radius is considered. The quadrant cannot exceed the minimum position defined in this property, in reference to the start of the part.
Machining \ Slots with mill
Interpolation maximum value: value as a function of the mechanical limitation in X of the machine;
Maximum diameter of bottom head milling cutter (mm): maximum diameter of the milling cutter in the bottom head;
Maximum diameter of upper head milling cutter (mm): maximum diameter of the cutter in the upper head;
Maximum working position (Y) for mill at the inferior face (mm): maximum position (Y) at which the milling cutter can work on its underside;
Maximum working position (Y) for mill at the superior face (mm): maximum position (Y) at which the milling cutter can work on the top face;
Minimum working position (Y) for mill at the inferior face (mm): minimum position (Y) at which the milling cutter can work on the underside;
Minimum working position (Y) for mill at the superior face (mm): minimum position (Y) at which the milling cutter can work on the top face;
Sawed Slots
Maximum position for sawed slots in (Y): maximum position the machine can saw cuts in (Y), in millimeters;
Minimum position for sawed slots in (Y): minimum position the machine can saw cuts in (Y), in millimeters;
Sawed slot max depth (mm): maximum depth the machine can slot with the saw.
Side Holes (Y Axis)
Number of lateral drill bits (Y): quantity of drills, for each side face present in the machine;
Maximum lateral diameter of the tools (mm): maximum diameter of the side drills;
Maximum position of the quadrant of the lateral holes in (X): maximum quadrant position of the side holes in (X) that the machine can operate. To calculate the quadrant position, the hole center in (X) plus (+) the hole radius is considered. The quadrant cannot exceed the maximum position defined in this property, in reference to the end of the part;
Minimum position of the quadrant of the lateral holes in (X): minimum quadrant position of the side holes in (X) that the machine can operate. To calculate the quadrant position, the hole center in (X) is considered minus (-) the hole radius. The quadrant cannot exceed the minimum position defined in this property, in reference to the start of the part.
