The Technical Assistance plugin, from the original design, allows you to request technical assistance. In the technical assistance design option, an editor enables the individual selection of each part that needs replacement.
There are two ways to select parts: in 3D or in a list. The user can easily and assertively highlight the desired assistance items. Subsequently, the request for this project option only considers the items selected for assistance.
The Technical Assistance plugin ensures that the assistance is performed in the correct version of the design, facilitating the precise selection of items to be watched and listing/budgeting only the selected items. This design follows the flow for integration with other Promob software, being identified as a request for assistance until reaching production with priority.
Benefits:
- Project traceability.
- Ease of identifying the item/module that needs to be attended.
- Assertiveness in part selection.
- Specific Listing/Budgeting of the selected items.
- Project Type Recognition/Treatment when integrating with Promob solution.
- Prioritization in production.
To define the items for technical assistance, follow these steps:
1. On the Promob home screen, locate the project you have been working on in the design.
2. Create a new design option, and keep the Technical Assistance option. For more information on how to create a new design option, click here.

IMPORTANT: Through the Preferences menu of Promob, it is possible to define three modes of operation:
- Allow selection: the user defines when accessing the screen to request assistance.
- Always request: for all marked parts, consider the hardware.
- Never request: Does not allow the user to tick the option on the screen to request assistance.
9. In the lower Show menu, it is possible to enable the Highlight Technical Assistance option, so that items receiving technical assistance are highlighted in pink in the 3D design.
