Print temperature: The temperature value controls the print contrast. To achieve better quality prints, factors such as paper type and Ribbon type should be considered.
IMPORTANT: Very high temperatures can produce dense and blurry prints, making it difficult to read the code.
Print speed: Set the print speed, as below:
Command | Parameter n (in millimeters/second) | Parameter n (in inches/second) |
PA | 25.4 | 1 |
PB | 38.09 | 1.5 |
PC | 50.8 | 2 |
PD | 63.5 | 2.5 |
PE | 76.19 | 3 |
PF | 88.89 | 3.5 |
PG | 101.6 | 4 |
PH | 114.3 | 4.5 |
PI | 127 | 5 |
PJ | 139.7 | 5.5 |
PK | 152.39 | 6 |
Printer Model | Print Range |
OS214/204/202 | A to E |
OS314 | A to C |
X1000+ | A to G |
X1000+/X3000+ | A to K |
IMPORTANT: The print speed also affects print quality; the higher the print speed, the faster the printer needs to heat and cool the print points. Thermal printers are not recommended for printing barcodes printed vertically, as they do not have the ideal print quality for this type of label.
Printer path/port: This field is mandatory and must contain the mapping \\computer\\printer_name.
Configuration example:
After configuring the printer, the printer will be displayed without the configuration alert.
