Promob allows the creation of new colors by editing existing materials. To check, click on one of the options:
Base Color
To create a base color:
1. Select the item in the environment where the new color will be applied and access the Tool Panel - Properties. Click on the Materials tab, in the Color category, access Bonder Color.
2. On the Color screen, make the desired adjustments:
Click with the mouse to select one of the color options.
Move the selection control to define the color tone or enter the desired RGB code in the Red, Green, and Blue properties.
3. The new color will be applied to the wall.
IMPORTANT: To apply the new color to items from other projects, access the Materials tab, locate the Project tab, and add the color to favorite materials.
Create complementary colors
The Complementary Colors tool allows you to select a color and automatically identify those that best harmonize with it. Additionally, you can adjust the tone scale, varying between cooler or warmer, lighter or darker tones.
1. Select the item in the environment where the new color will be applied and access the Tool Panel - Properties. Click on the Materials tab, in the Color category, and access Complementary Colors.
2. In the Complementary Colors - Color Wheel window, define:
Hue: select the color combination.
The options are:
Primary: colors that cannot be obtained from other colors.
Complementary: colors that are diametrically opposite on the color wheel (drawing a straight line from one side to the other). When placed side by side, they appear more vivid and intense than when isolated. They are widely used to create contrast, balance, and strength in a composition.
Triangle1: allows combinations with three complementary colors.
Triangle2: allows combinations with three complementary colors.
Rectangle: allows combinations with four complementary colors.
Pentagon: allows combinations with five complementary colors.
Variation: select the color tone.
The options are:
Cooler: cool colors tend toward blue and hues between green, blue, and violet.
Warmer: warm colors tend toward yellow and its hues, such as orange and red.
Darker: tones vary from the selected color to black.
Lighter: tones vary from the selected color to white.
Less saturation: saturation relates to the amount of a particular color present in the mixture.
Size: define the number of colors to be displayed. The quantity can vary from 1 to 20.
Reference: note that the point on the black color and the points on the white color can be moved to generate other complementary color combinations. Note that the color inserted in the environment is the same as the one in Reference.
Components: define the scale of primary colors (red, green, and blue).
3. Mix colors as desired and click OK to view the new color on the project item.
