Optimizer Configurations
To send files for cutting using the Cut List Plugin, it is necessary to make some settings:
1. Within Promob, go to Optimizer Configuration.
In the Settings tab, set:
File
1. Create first row with header: set whether the file generated by the optimizer displays a header.
Images
1. Create label images: enable to create label images.
Settings
1. In Column separator, define the column separator character.
2. Concatenate material type with description: when this option is enabled, the material description in the .csv file also displays the material type. It applies to cases where the material type is not in the description; if the material type is already in the description, it is not changed.
IMPORTANT: by default, this setting is unchecked and the configuration.
Example:
- Unchecked setting: 6mm White
- With marked configuration: MDF 6mm White
3. File extension: .txt
4. Generate single file: if the value is True - Setting Checked, only one file is generated according to material and thickness.
5. Group by equal dimensions: items are grouped by equal dimensions.
6. Ignore part classification for summing quantity: if the value is True, the part ID is generated in the file grouping.
7. Measurement format: Define the measurement format to be used to convert all values.
- The unit of measurement is already defined, so when you click on this option you will be prompted for a security key, and you should ask Promob Support for help setting it up.
8. Use default project identifier: define whether the final name of the file is the default (NameClient_3D_Environment) or whether a newly defined name is considered. Unchecking this option enables the Project identification setting.
Label Settings
To define the label settings:
1. In Promob, under Optimizer Configuration, go to Labels.
