Optimizer Configurations
To send files for cutting using the Cut Pro Plugin, it is necessary to make some settings:
1. Within Promob, go to Optimizer Configuration.
In the Settings tab, set:
File
1. Create first row with header: set whether the file generated by the optimizer displays a header.
Images
1. Create item images: enable to create item images.
2. Create label images: enable to create label images.
3. Create module images: enable to create module images
Settings
1. Column separator: define the column separator character.
2. Concatenate material type with description: when this option is enabled, the material description in the .csv file also displays the material type. It applies to cases where the material type is not in the description; if the material type is already in the description, it is not changed.
IMPORTANT: by default, this setting is unchecked and the configuration.
Example:
- Unchecked setting: 6mm White.
- With marked configuration: MDF 6mm White.
3. Decimal Separator: set the decimal separator character.
4. Export Path CutPro file: defines whether the Cut Pro software will be opened at the end of the optimization.
5. Full path: Enter the directory where the files will be saved, by default the path is C:\Program Files\Promob\Cut Pro\Program\bin.
IMPORTANT: To open the files generated by Cut Pro, you must have the relevant Cut Pro software installed on your machine.
6. Open Cut Pro: Check this option so that the Cut Pro software is opened at the end of the optimization.
7. Use default project identifier: define whether the final name of the file is the default (NameClient_3D_Environment) or whether a newly defined name is considered. Unchecking this option enables the Project identification setting.
Label Settings
To define the label settings:
1. In Promob, under Optimizer Configuration, go to Labels.
2. If necessary, view the label settings information here.

1. In Promob, under Optimizer Configuration, go to File.
2. Add or remove fields from the information to be generated as necessary.
- Use the arrows and the other options to configure.
Source column: Displays the columns that are available for the user to add to the final file.
Target Column: Displays the columns that will be generated in the final file.
The columns in the Objective can be edited, so double-click on the column required and the Field Editor screen will appear. If necessary, find out more about file settings here.
