As of version 188.8.131.52 of the Builder plugin the technical drawing of aluminum profiles, if the profiles have the attributes configured, will generate the profile view drawing, shortening, assembly drawing (for aluminum doors).
IMPORTANT: The configuration for generating technical drawings using the Drafter service must be activated. To learn how to activate it, click here.
- For the profile:
ALUMINIUM_COMPONENT: attribute that defines what kind of component the aluminum profile is. It can be Profile or Crossbar.
|Possible Values||Profile, Crossbar and None|
ALUMINIUM_SHORTENING: attribute that defines the minimum length of the profile, in millimeters, that must be considered to apply shortening in the technical drawing.
- To the door:
ALUMINIUM_DOOR: attribute that identifies the aluminum door, evaluated for generating the technical drawing of the aluminum door assembly with the dimensions.
DOOR_FRONT_BACK: attribute that identifies whether the aluminum door design will be made double-sided.
Viewing the Profile view
The profile view drawing will respect the dihedral setting applied in the General Settings of the Builder. The 3D drawing (dxf) registered in the library must have contour information.
- Required attribute: ALUMINIUM_COMPONENT, with value Profile or Crossbar.
The technical drawing of the Profile with shortening shows the representation of the part divided into sections by length, to make it easier to visualize the operations on the part. Sections will be created according to the size of the part and the positioning of the operations.
In this case, when the part is represented with shortening, a legend will be displayed next to the dihedral legend. The shortening of a part will only be represented if its length is equal or greater than the one informed in the ALUMINIUM_SHORTENING attribute.
- Required Attribute: ALUMINIUM_SHORTENING.
Example of Aluminum Profile design with shortening applied:
For doors with aluminum profiles, with the attributes correctly applied, a new technical drawing of the door will be generated, showing the dimensions between the profiles and crossbar, and the components (hardware).
IMPORTANT: To generate the dimensions for the hinges and other hardware, it is necessary that they are registered according to the pattern of the Plugin Builder to consider IsHardware.
- For the door:
ALUMINIUM_DOOR: with a value True.
DOOR_FRONT_BACK: True to draw the front and back door, or False to draw the front only.
- For the Profiles:
ALUMINIUM_COMPONENT: with Profile value.
- For the crossbars:
ALUMINIUM_COMPONENT: with Crossbar value.
