As well as offering a wide variety of textures to be used as materials, Promob allows designers to add their own textures to projects quickly and dynamically. In addition to new textures, it is also possible to insert photos and images to enhance projects.

Insertion of the external texture
To insert an external texture into the project:
1. With Promob open, open the folder where the texture is stored;
2. Keep both screens open;
3. Click on the texture and drag it into Promob, where the texture should be inserted.
Define the scale of the external texture
The scale indicates how many times the texture should be repeated where it has been applied. The larger the scale, the smaller the texture will be displayed. To set the scale of the texture:
1. Select the item where the external texture has been applied and access the Tools - Properties panel. Click on the Materials tab.
2. Enter the value for the Scale in X and Scale in Y properties.
Saving external textures
All the external textures used in the project are saved in Materials, under the Project tab, and can be used in any environment.
Remove external texture
There are two options for removing the applied texture from an item:
- Option 01 - Remove from 3D environment
1. After inserting the texture into the item, click the Undo button from the top toolbar;
2. Apply another texture to the item via the Materials window;
- Option 02 - To remove from the Favorites library:
1. Right-click on the texture and select Remove;
Export external texture
Save the texture as a favorite material:
1. In the Materials window, right-click on the material and select Add to Favorites.
2. Enter the desired name for the material and select Create. To organize your Favorites tab, create groups:
3. Then export your favorite materials. In your Promob, go to File - Export - Favorite Materials:
4. Set the directory and file name, then click Save. When the export is complete, the message below is displayed, click OK.
