Cut Pro - Biesse Cutting Managers - OSI Follow

To use the Plugin OSI Biesse :

1. Active the Plugin, for more information on purchasing the plugin, contact Promob.

2. Configure your plugin by going to the Main menu - Export Settings.

3. In Cutting Manager, click on Biesse and select OSI.

4. In the Editor tab, define the desired settings of the OSI plugin.

File

• File Generation Directory: Select the location where the .xml file will be generated. If not informed, the file will be saved to the location entered in the Location field of the Generate Documents screen.

IMPORTANT: In order for the XML file generated by Cut Pro to be read correctly in the OSI, it is necessary to contact Biesse support to activate the XML import option.

Cutting Plan Configuration

• Cutting thickness (mm): Enter the thickness of the saw that makes the cut. The value must be informed in millimeters and be the same as registered in OSI;
• Maximum Cut length: Enter the maximum cut size allowed by the machine;
• Allowed phases: Set the maximum number of phases to be used in the cut manager;
• Maximum machine allowed phases: Defines the maximum number of phases allowed by the machine;
• Stacking maximum (mm): defines the maximum measurement, in millimeters, of stacking sheets to make the cut.

Visualization

• Zero point in the plane: Set the position of the zero point used by the manager.

• Print part labels: Select this option to generate information about a part labels. This information will be generated next to the .xml file.
• Print remnant labels: Select this option to generate information about a remnant labels. This information will be generated next to the .xml file.

This functionality allows you to edit the information sent in the integration file regarding the labels. The customized data refers to the item information displayed in the line of the file started by the tag <Part of the XML file. According to the descriptions of the standard tags and initial values, described below:

It is possible to enable this feature by following the procedures below:

1. In the menu Main - Export Settings, click on Cutting Manager.

2. In Cutting Manager, click on Biesse and select OSI.

 

3. In the Editor menu, find and enable the Print part labels option.

 

4. Select the Labels menu.

 

5. Select the desired column to send the information to the labels.

 

6. For each selected column, include the information for submission according to the following image:

 

7. It is necessary to expand the column to choose the tag related to this field:

 

8. Define which Tag the column should replace on the label.

 

9. After selecting the columns and referencing the tags you want, click Close.

 

10. If the information is valid, it will be saved and sent to the integration file.

 

NOTES:

• The selected columns must have an associated tag, because otherwise a message is displayed when trying to save the information.
• The columns chosen must not have a tag that is already associated with another column, if this happens, a message is displayed when trying to save the information.
