IMPORTANTE: Available in Maker Design only when using the Standard Configuration.
The registration of edge banding thicknesses is necessary to inform the thickness of the edge banding that will be used. Being necessary for the registration of models of edge banding.
In addition, this information will be useful for the composition of the model reference, since one of the information that makes up the reference is the thickness of the edge banding.
In this register, two information will be registered:
Name: The name of the edge banding thickness for identification. Example: 0.4mm
Code: The code for the thickness of the edge banding, and this information should be composed only of numbers and at most three digits. In addition, the code represents the nominal thickness of the edge banding. Example: 0.4

Edge Banding Registration - New Registration
To register a new edge banding thickness:
1. Access Model - Edge banding thickness registration.
2. On the Edge Tape Thickness Register screen that opens, enter the name, value and unit of measurement.
- The value entered will represent the nominal thickness of the edge band.
- The Unit of measure field displays a combo box with all available unit of measure options.
- It is possible to register sheet thicknesses with different measurement units.
3. After completing the thickness registration, click Save.
4. The new thickness will be displayed on the main screen, along with the other thicknesses already registered.
The registered thickness table will display the following columns: Name, Thickness Value, Unit of
measurement and Conversion to mm. The last column displays the registered thickness value, Converted to mm according to the selected measurement unit.
IMPORTANT: conversion of thickness value to mm cannot be 0 (zero)
An alert message is displayed if there is already a thickness registered:
- With the same name;
- With the same value and unit of measure.
Edge banding thickness Registration - Edit Registration
If it is necessary to change any information of a thickness already registered:
1. Access Model - Edge banding thickness registration.
2. The screen will open with the thicknesses previously registered. Select the thickness you want to edit and click edit.
3. Make the necessary changes and then click Save.
4. The information has already been changed.
Edge banding thickness Registration - Delete Registration
If necessary to delete any registered thickness:
1. Access Model - Edge banding thickness registration.
2. The screen will open with the thicknesses previously registered. Select the thickness you want to delete and click delete.
3. The screen to confirm the deletion will open. Check the option yes to exclude the thickness.
4. The thickness has been removed.
