Available as of version: Cut Pro 1.2.5.13.
It is possible to filter the items displayed on the home screen based on specific criteria, which makes it easier to locate the desired items. This article demonstrates how filters work in the full mode, but all the information also applies to the simplified mode. For more information about the usage modes of Cut Pro, click here.
Each column contains an icon (light blue) in the right corner that opens the filtering screen. In columns where this icon is not present, it indicates that filtering is not possible for those items. The available filtering criteria may vary from column to column.
When a filter is applied to the column, the icon (darker blue) is used to indicate that the column has a filter.
See below for key information on Filter Screen Elements:
Column elements:
In the selected column, it is possible to view all the information contained within it. By selecting one of the options, all items that have that information will be filtered, displaying only those that meet the selected criteria. On the other hand, by unchecking the option, the selection is undone and all items are displayed again, without the applied filter.
Criteria:
It is possible to choose up to two filters with different criteria. The displayed image shows the available criteria for filtering. This flexibility allows for a more precise and personalized filtering, based on the criteria offered in the listing.
IMPORTANT: When choosing a criterion from the list and entering the comparison value in the corresponding text field, the items on the screen are filtered based on the selected criterion. There is also the possibility of choosing up to two different criteria for filtering.
Filter button:
By clicking on the Filter button, the list of items on the screen is updated, and only the elements that meet the chosen criteria are displayed. This means that items that do not fit the selected criteria are hidden.
Clear button:
By clicking on the Clear button, all filter options for that column will be removed. This means that all previous selections made in the filter column will be undone, returning to the original view without any applied filters.
Filtering by more than one column
It is possible to use filters defined in different columns to search for items based on specific criteria of description and depth.
Joint Filtering with the Search Field
The Cut Pro provides general filters, where it is possible to filter any item information just by typing the desired information, be it the material, the description, dimensions of the item, etc. It is possible to combine the two ways of filtering, that is, specify some information through the search field, and then re-filter the results by filtering in the columns.
Reverse Filtering
On the other hand, Reverse Filtering allows you to show the opposite of the previous example. It is possible to start by filtering for a specific column and then use the search bar to further filter the results.
Clean Filters
To remove all applied filters, both in the columns and in the search field, simply click on the filter removal button, as shown in the image below:
