To locate the serial number
When Promob is installed, locate the serial number and the name of the computer to facilitate the management of subscriptions on the Portal.
1. Consult the Serial Number activated on each computer through the Help - About menu inside Promob;
2. To consult the computer name, access the Help menu - Support - Computer information - Machine name.
Access and manage subscriptions through the Promob Services Portal
1. Access the Portal page and login;
2. Check the account that was accessed, if you have more than one account with the same login;
- Subscriptions may be registered in only one of the accounts;
- Click on the name of the current account and then select the account you want to access;
3. Click on the Subscriptions - Management;
Subscriptions are classified by groups, according to the Promob name:
If necessary, use the filters to find the desired signature:
- In Serial Number, enter the subscription number, if you want to view only the information for a single subscription;
- In Product, enter the name of Promob, that is, the system to which you want to manage subscriptions;
- Under Status, select the checkbox for the situation in which you want to view the subscriptions as active, expired, canceled. Below more information;
4. Click on Search;
5. Click on the tab with the name of the Promob to expand the serial numbers;
6. To view more details about the subscription, click on the Serial Number, so the Details tab is loaded on the right side;
On the Details tab, you can view detailed information about the subscription status, such as expiration date, information about the last activations and the Plugins linked to it;
Identify subscription status
The possible situations of a subscription are:
Active
- Situation represented by the color green;
- It means that the subscription is activated on a computer, that is, for a specific product code.
Expired
- This situation is represented by the color yellow.
- It may mean that the subscription has expired;
- It means that the subscription is active, but the subscription renewal is expired.
It requires attention
- This situation is represented by the yellow color;
- It means that the subscription is active, but the subscription renewal is expired.
Canceled
- This situation is represented by the color red.
- It may mean that the subscription has been suspended by the Manufacturer;
- It may mean that the subscription has been canceled;
Activation Field
The Activation option displays the activation status of the subscription, which can be: active, inactive, suspended by manufacturer, and payment suspended.
- Available to activate: this situation is represented by the color blue, it means that the subscription is free to be activated on a computer, i.e. it is not in use.
- Active: this situation is represented by the color green, it means that the subscription is currently active on a computer.
- Inactive: this situation is represented by the color red, it means that the subscription cannot be activated on any computer.
- Manufacturer Suspended: means that the subscription is currently enabled on a computer, but has been suspended by the manufacturer and cannot be used.
- Suspended payment: this situation is represented by the color red, it means that the subscription payment is suspended.
In situations where more than one activation situation exists for subscriptions, the situation filter is displayed:
IMPORTANT: The filter only shows the options that exist within this product.
Academic Distribution Products Signature
It is possible to change the activation status of a Promob Academic product subscription to Available to activate on a computer.
NOTE: This option is exclusively available for Promob Academic products and for users with an Administrator profile.
To access and use this functionality, please follow the steps below:
1. Access the Promob Portal through your internet browser.
2. Please log in with the account administrator credentials.
3. In the main menu of the Promob Portal, locate the Subscriptions option and click on it.
4. Select the Management option to access the customer's subscription management page.
5. On this page, you will be able to view a list of Promob Academic product subscriptions. Select the desired subscription that has the activation status set to Active.
6. In the corresponding Actions tab for the selected subscription, you will see the option Release. Click on this option to proceed with the release of the activation of the Promob Academic product on another computer.
7. In the confirmation window, locate the Yes button and click on it to confirm the release of the subscription. After clicking Yes, the subscription will be released and available for activation on another computer.
8. After confirming the release of the signature, a success message will be displayed, stating The subscription is free for transfer.
9. Upon viewing the signature after activation release, you will notice that the status has changed from Active (represented by a green dot) to Available to activate on a computer (represented by a blue dot). This change indicates that the signature is now ready to be activated on another computer.
NOTES: In the Academic version, the release of the subscription through the Subscription menu, located in Promob Academic, will no longer be allowed. Now, this option is no longer available.
Cancel subscription
This functionality is performed from the Actions tab. Check here how to proceed.
Identify computer
To identify the computer where Promob is activated:
1. Next to the Serial Number click on the Edit icon;
2. Enter the name of the computer and press the Enter key.
See blocking reason
To see why the subscription was blocked:
1. Click on the Serial Number you wish to consult.
See expiration date
You can view the subscription expiration date on the Subscription Management page.
1. In the Subscriptions - Manage Subscriptions menu;
2. Use the filters to locate the subscriptions;
3. Click on the Serial Number and check the Expiration Date field, it will display the expiration date of this subscription.
