What happens?
When Promob is opened, the message Error in script on this page is displayed.
Why does it happen?
The situation can occur for the following reasons:

There is some invalid content written to the hardware key;
-
The name of a design listed in recent files has the special quotation mark character;
-
A unconformity will be generated and this will point out the problem;
-
Windows is not reading the XML file;
-
Some malicious software is preventing activation;
What to do?
Identify when the message occurs and the URL description of the error. If you have any questions regarding this procedure, please contact Support:
Activation
1. Activation: Promob with hardware key
1. Open a request for Promob Support to clean the hardware key.
2. Activation: Promob without hardware key
1. As Promob closed go to Local Disk (C:)\ProgramData\Procad. NOTE: the ProgramData folder is a hidden folder, if it is not being seen, click here;
2. Locate and delete the corresponding activation record file. This file consists of a number and the extension.sys. Example: 16.sys;
3. Activate Promob;
4. If the situation persists, follow the steps of the option Script error when opening Promob;
5. Access Control Panel - Programs and Features. Check the program list if Infonaut, IntelliTerm, Istartsurf, Link Wiz, McafeeWebAdvisor, Phrase Finder, Quick Ref, SuperClick, TermBlazer, TermCoach, WordAnchor, Wordinator, WordFly or some other malicious program are installed. If they are installed, it is necessary to remove them from the computer;
Opening
1. Opening: IO directory
Solution 1: Delete IO folder
1. Close Promob and delete the IO folder.
Solution 2: Check folder/design name
2. Check if the name of the designs folder and the name of the designs have any special characters in the name, such as apostrophe, slash, asterisk, among others. If so, rename the folder and/or designs and delete the special character.
2. Opening: Start Page directory
Solution 1: Rename StartPage Folder
1. With Promob closed go to Local Disk (C:)\Program Files\Promob\Promob (Manufacturer Name)\System;
2. Locate and rename the StartPage folder to _StartPage;
3. Update Promob via menu Windows Start - All Programs - Promob - Promob (Manufacturer Name) - Promob Update;
Solution 2: Delete temporary browser files
1. Open Internet Explorer and access the Tools - Delete Browsing History menu;
2. Set the options as shown in the image below and then click Delete;
3. Close and reopen the browser;
4. Open Promob;
Solution 3: Check Windows administrative permissions
1. Check if the message Permission Denied is displayed on the error line. If so, close Promob and run it as an administrator;
2. Request assistance from the IT technician to check administrative permissions, the user logged into Windows;
Solution 4: Check Internet Explorer Version
1. Verify the Internet Explorer version is up to date.
3. Opening: Manager One directory
Solution 1: Update Promob
1. Close Promob;
2. Update Promob via menu Windows Start - All Programs - Promob - Promob (Manufacturer Name) - Promob Update;
Solution 2: Delete Folder Manager One
1. Go to Local Disk (C:)\ProgramData\Procad. NOTE: The ProgramData folder is a hidden folder;
2. Locate and remove the Manager One folder;
4. Open: JQuery is not defined
1. With Promob closed go to Local Disk (C:)\Program Files\Promob\Promob (Manufacturer Name)\System;
2. Locate and rename the startPage folder to _startPage;
3. Go to Local Disk (C:)\ProgramData\Procad\Promob (Manufacturer Name);
4. Locate and delete the Plugins folder;
5. Update Promob via menu Windows Start - All Programs - Promob - Promob (Manufacturer Name) - Promob Update;
5. Opening: Recent.js file – Line 14, character 4 or 5
1. Close Promob;
2. Update Promob from the root folder at C:\Program Files\Promob\Promob (System Name)\Program\bin\Update and run PromobUpdate.exe file – do full scan;
3. If the situation persists, after the update has been completely checked, check if the error refers to line 14 and character 4 or 5 of the recent.js file. If so, the message is an indication that Windows is not reading the XML files correctly. Request the support of a computer technician to restore the XML reading settings in Windows and resolve the situation;
