What happens?
When opening Promob, the message The file below is corrupted: Promob.version. Promob will be terminated. is displayed.
Why does it happen?
The situation occurs because Promob is running over a network path. Promob can only be opened directly from the local directory where it was installed.
Example:
If Promob is installed on a computer whose installation directory is shared with the network, it will not be possible to run Promob: the message will be displayed.
What to do?
Solution 1: Run Promob directly from the location where it is installed
- Right-click on the Promob icon and select Open file location;
- Try running the Promob5.exe file in this directory. If the location is on a network, shared, it is necessary to follow solution 2.
Solution 2: Install Promob in Local Directory
- As Promob does not work over a network, it is necessary to have a local installation. Install Promob again, this time in local directory.
