What happens?
When downloading the Promob installation files, the message A system error has occurred or An unexpected error has occurred is displayed.
Why does it happen?
The situation can occur for the following reasons:
- Internet connection fluctuation;
- Loss of Internet connection while downloading;
- Antivirus blocking of any file downloaded in the download;
- Some system error that could not be identified during download;
What to do?
Solution 1: Check Promob Downloader Version
1. Check under the name 'Promob Downloader' which version. If the version is 7.0.0.0, any other version less than 8, download the new version of Promob Downloader.
Solution 2: try to download again
1. Click Try Again to continue downloading files.
Solution 3: Temporarily disable antivirus
1. Disable antivirus temporarily and restart the download.
Solution 4: Check Microsoft .NET Framework Version
1. Make sure Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.1 is installed on your computer.
2. If version 4.6.1 is not installed, install it.
Solution 5: Check Internet Limiters
1. Access Control Panel - Programs - Programs and Features and check if the Bytefence software is installed. If so, remove it or configure it so that it does not block Promob Downloader.
2. Check for the presence of internet limiters that may be blocking the download of files. Click here and consult the ports, sites and IPs that must be released.
