The inserts of hardware are as a complement to the other operations of the Builder (holes, slots and machining), allowing the insertion of dowel pin, shims, slides.
Hardware inserts are represented by an X on the part, check below for an example of registration:

Integration
Operation type: operation used for budget.
Properties
Condition: rule for applying the operation (or not) to the part.
Define rule to select hardware type: defines whether there is a rule for choosing a specific hardware.
Depth: depth of hardware insertion into the part.
Diameter: diameter of the hardware insert in the part.
Hardware insertion type: identifies whether the operation is static or dynamic.
Hardware type: allows you to register/select the type of hardware (Ex.: dowel, shim…).
X: X position on the part.
Y: Y position in the part.
IMPORTANT: There is no representation of this operation in technical drawings and labels, as only machines capable of inserting hardware will represent the operation in the generated machine programs.
