What happens?
When starting the update, in the process of verifying the regularity of the subscription of use, the message Your subscription is activated for another product code. For this reason, it has been disabled on this computer. It will not be possible to proceed with the update.
Why does it happen?
The situation can occur for the following reasons:
- The Promob subscription is not activated;
- The Promob subscription is activated on another computer;
- The activation log file contains an error.
What to do?
Does not use hardware key
- Close Promob and open it again. If Promob requests activation, perform the process. After activation, start the update process;
- Check if the Promob subscription is being used on another computer. To do this, access the other computers that have Promob installed and consult the Serial Number activated through the Help - About menu. If the subscription is being used on another computer, click here and see the procedure to be performed;
- If you do not have another computer or have already managed the subscriptions and the situation persists, delete the activation log file. To do this, go to Local Disk (C:)\ProgramData\Procad and locate the file corresponding to the registration of Promob activation. NOTE: The ProgramData folder is a hidden folder, if it is not already displayed, click here. The file consists of a number and the extension .sys. For example: 67.sys. NOTE: in case of doubts regarding the location of the file, contact the Promob Support.
Uses hardware key
- Close Promob and open it again. If Promob requests activation, perform the process. After activation, start the update process;
- Check if the Promob subscription is being used on another computer. To do this, access the other computers that have Promob installed and consult the Serial Number activated through the Help - About menu. If the subscription is being used on another computer, click here and see the procedure to be performed;
- If you do not identify the use of the subscription on another computer or do not have other subscriptions, contact Promob Support so that the cleaning of the hardware key is carried out.
