The offset indicates how much more of the piece should be sent to the cut, adding to your project measure. For more information about the cut, click here.
Diagonal shaped parts may also have offset applied, however the calculation is performed differently from rectangular pieces.
Example
Below is an example of how the calculation is performed for pieces with diagonal edges.
In Promob the final size of the piece is 1000x100x18.5.
IMPORTANT: The offset values in X and Y may be different from those registered in the Builder tab due to the angle of the piece.
Offset in X
Applying 10mm offset only in X.
