By editing columns it is possible to define which fields will be displayed in Nesting files. To do this, perform the procedures below:
1. Go to CNC - CNC Configuration.
2. Select the desired Nesting machine plugin.
3. Access the File menu, the Edit Columns option will be displayed.
Editing Columns
In the columns editing screen, you can make adjustments to the file that will be generated in Nesting.
All columns
- Items available for use in the Nesting file.
Selected columns
- Items that make up the Nesting file.
Configuration
Allows you to make general settings for the file.
Buttons
Enable you to edit the items in the columns.
- Button Functionalities
1. Transfers from the column of all available to the selected column;
2. Remove the selected column;
3. Moves the selected column up;
4. Moves the selected column down;
5. Group the selected columns into just one column;
6. Ungroups a grouped column;
7. Restores the columns to the default configuration.
Column Grouping
Column Grouping is necessary when you need to display more than one piece of information together.
When performing the grouping the columns will be displayed as follows:
To configure the grouping of the columns:
1. Select the Columns to be grouped, and then click Grouping.
Editing column grouping
To edit a grouping after it has been added
1. In the list of attributes, locate the grouping and select the Edit icon to the right of the name.
IMPORTANT: the Edit icon will only be visible when hovering over the grouping.
After the grouping you can edit its name, the column separator must be informed in the field where the $ is, which in this case is the separator that was used, this separator exists to differentiate the grouping separator from the general column configuration separator.

You can sort the attributes using the up and down arrows, by selecting the attribute and clicking on the corresponding arrow.

2. Access the Edit button.
3. To change the column name, double click the name and enter the new name.
4. The Maximum Size, is used to set the maximum character size of the data that will be entered in this column. To set the maximum size, check the check box and enter the desired maximum number.

System attribute column
You can also edit the system attribute column by following the procedure below:
1. Access the Edit button.
2. When you open the edit, the System Attribute option is displayed.
3. To select an attribute, access the search button.
4. Select the desired attribute that is registered in the system, and click OK.
