The Promob Sync Service is an application that serves to keep Promob data synchronized on all the store computers. The synchronized data are: created projects, customers, orders, graphics, etc. So, it is very important that this application is installed correctly.
It is installed when you start Promob. It is also possible to install the service through the following link, which must be opened using the Internet Explorer browser: http://managerone.promob.com/manageronesyncservice/publish.htm
You will be asked to confirm the service install on your computer, for that, click Install and wait for the installation to be completed. Within a few seconds, the service will be running on the machine.
To confirm that the service is running, check the hidden icons next to the Windows clock. The following icon should be present:
Data synchronization occurs automatically every 2 hours. As the service will be running on more than one computer, this frequency every 2 hours will not happen at the same time, therefore, the data may take more than 2 hours to be updated.
If you need this data updated before this deadline, it is possible to do the synchronization manually, by double-clicking on the Promob Sync Service icon and then clicking on the arrows indicated below:
Manual sync must be done first on the computer with new data, wait for the process to finish completely, and then on the other computer, where you want to obtain the new data. After completing both synchronizations, the data will be updated on the other computer.
Projects take longer to synchronize, as they require post-processing, which can take 2 to 24 hours.
If the service is not running, projects, customers, orders and other information present on Promob Connect will be out of date in relation to other computers.
