In the menu Evaluate part minimum width for slot operation with saw, it is possible to apply a minimum value that the part needs to be wide for the slot operations to be carried out with the saw, and if the part has a width value smaller than the defined in the restriction, the program only makes slots using a milling cutter (if there are milling cutters compatible with the operation in Setup).
Configurations
Configure the restriction:
1. In CNC Configuration - Skipper 100/Skipper 130 - Setups - Slots, check the option Evaluate part minimum width for slot operation with saw, so that the field Minimum part width for slotting with saw is displayed.
2. Set the value for Part minimum width for slot operation with saw.
3. Save the Setup by clicking on File - Save.
Generate programs:
1. Parts with a width less than the defined value:
In the example: the part has a width of 190, and the constraint has been set to 200:
The restriction prevents the slot from being made with a saw, making it possible for only milling cutters compatible with the slot to carry out the operation.
2. Parts with an equal width greater than the defined value:
In the example: the part has a width of 250 and the constraint has been set to 200.
The restriction allows the tear to be made with Saw:
