Available from Builder version – 1.60.17.8
The field Operation Relationships allows the user to relate one operation to another so that the order of operations generated in the machine program can be changed.
IMPORTANT: IMPORTANT: This functionality is available to register everyone, but only the machine plugins that already use the Cloud Engine can manage the relationships of these operations. To check if the installed plugin meets the requirements of this function, contact Promob Support.
Register
To register the relationship between operations, follow the steps below:
1. Through the Catalog Module Editor, access the Builder tab of a geometry.
2. Select the option Relationship - Operation Relationship and link two or more options.
NOTE: The order of relationships is important, because in the example above, Drilling01 binds to it Slot01, and this is the order considered.
IMPORTANT: An operation can have only one other operation directly linked to it. Example: Drilling01 cannot link any operation other than Slot01, but it can be the link of another operation.
Results in Machine Programs
The relationship register, allows the order of operations configured in the machine Setups, to be changed according to the registered operation relationships.
With the Setup of CNC’s configurations, the order of operations to follow is Holes | Grooves, that is, for each face of the part, will be made all Holes and then made all Grooves.
Examples
No Relationship registered: Without any relationship registered, the result of the machine program is presented as follows:
- The operation list follows the order configured in Setup and displays the two holes and then the grooves.
With Registered Relationship: With the registered relationship, the result in the machine program is presented as follows:
- The list of operations follows the order configured in the Setup, but the existing relationships are made before the other operations, that is, the Hole is made, then the related Grooves and finally the other Hole.
