In the Stop Command settings, it is possible to relate the stop command to processes registered in the system library. For more information on registration of a process, click here.
IMPORTANT: The Stop Command function, known as NC-STOP, is a native machine command, which pauses the numerical control. In other words, the part is returned to the operator, the operator performs the breaking process and/or removal of the excess material from the operation, and returns the part to the machine at the zero point, to continue the NC program from the pause moment. This process is further explained in the topic Stop Command - NC-STOP.
To add command to processes, follow the step-by-step below:
1. Click CNCs Settings, located in Promob's top tab.
2. In the individual settings for each machine, click the Setups menu.
3. Locate the field Stop command Processes.
4. By clicking on this field Stop Command Processes, the selection screen will appear. In this screen, select the desired slot and machining processes.
5. The Stop command X position (mm) and Stop command Y position (mm) can also be added, as shown in the picture below:
6. After the process selection, when generating the program, the command will be displayed as pictured below:
Stop Command - NC-STOP
To understand the process, look at the following image:
1.a e 1.b: In pictures 1.a and 1.b, the machining process executed according to the NC-STOP command is shown. After the machining operation is completed, the process is paused.
1.c: In image 1.c the operator will break and/or remove the excess material from the operation, and return the part to the machine at the zero point, to continue the NC process from the pause moment.
2.a: Image 2.a, is finishing the part with a second operation and process.
IMPORTANT: Note that the prioritization of processes needs to adapt the order of operations according to the NC-STOP command, as an example below:
